On Time Resources Pty Ltd, trading as 'OTR Training' is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and is approved by WorkCover NSW for high risk work licence training and assessment.

Nominal duration 5 days      

Maximum number of attendees per course is limited to 16.

$400.00 per person (inc GST)

PRE-REQUISITES
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to read and understand statements in English. Photo ID is compulsory as part of 100 points of evidence of identification. All students must have fully enclosed WORK BOOTS, preferably steel cap (assessment will not be conducted if work boots are not worn) and must provide a recent passport size photo.

COURSE CONTENT
This course includes the training and testing you need to get worK as a forklift driver. The topics covered include:
* Safe driving in a forklift
* Forklift start up and shut down procedures
* Forklift inspection
* Forklift maintenance
* Hazard identification
* Safe work practices
* Correct lifting techniques

On successful completion, participants receive a WorkCover NSW Notice of Satisfactory Assessment (NSA) which is valid for 60 days.  A $65 fee is payable to Australia Post for the licence card which is nationally recognised.

Successful participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck TLILIC108A  and a Statement of Attainment in Operate a Forklift as part of TLI07 Transport & Logistics training package.

ASSESSMENT STRATEGY
Assessment is both practical and theory. Participants will need to be deemed competent in a pre-assessment prior to completing the formal WorkCover assessment.
Attendees will be required to participate in discussions & activities, complete oral & written questioning and conduct practical demonstrations. Assessment will be based on WorkCover requirements which includes a practical driving and lifting assessment as well as a written test based on a booklet.
