What is TFMS?

The Transitional Fatigue Management Scheme (TFMS) is an optional scheme for employers and drivers to self-manage the fatigue problem rather than simply complying with maximum times.  The TFMS training program is of two, three hours sessions (two weeks apart). On successful completion of the two training sessions a Statement of Attainment will be issued by OTR and the Driver Certification Manual (DCM) will be signed off by the OTR trainer to certify that the individual has achieved the required competencies.
